Erica enjoys travel, learning history, and is inspired by landscapes and architecture. Born and raised in Maine, having left for almost a decade, she says, "I missed the slower pace and ease of home". The rocky coast of Maine is a constant inspiration in her work. She began merging her digital art with digital photography in 2010. She created Closer North in 2012 and began building a great team that same year. Her husband, Jordan, joined the team in 2013 and have been a husband and wife photography duo since. They reside on Verona Island next to Erica's hometown of Bucksport, Maine. Erica lives and breaths photography these days, but when she's not working, Erica spends time with her husband Jordan, daughter Kate, dog Easton, and cat Jack.
