Owner, creator, and editor of Closer North. Erica is a born and raised Mainer. Having lived in various other states after high school she came back to Maine in 2009 and created Closer North the following year. A mother, wife, and dog lover she currently resides in Brewer, Maine. Erica is organized and methodical about her photography. She captures what feels natural with a cinematic styling through natural light. She has been a workshop photography director for 6 years and retired the event in 2020. Along side her passion for photography and graphic design, she and her husband own and operate a dispensary on Verona Island, Maine. In their spare time she enjoys travel and history.

Ember is very easy going and sweet. You won't even know she's there while she's capturing the art of photography during your event. She resides in Southern Maine with her husband and cats.
